Job summary

JLL in Australia is seeking a Northern Facilities Management Lead to oversee facilities services for the QLD & NSW Australia Post portfolio, coordinating with clients, vendors and account teams. This role drives budget control, contract management, and performance across a broad portfolio.

You will lead a team of Facilities Managers, ensuring growth, collaboration and adherence to OH&S and regulatory requirements while delivering KPI-focused outcomes and sustainability objectives.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Facilities, Property, Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of proven experience in sustainability, government or sustainability consulting in complex operating environments.
• Strong data interpretation and numerical analysis skills, preferably in energy, emissions or utilities.
• Ability to extract and analyse data into clear and logical reports with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel with pivot tables, lookups and complex formulas.

Responsibilities

• Lead management and execution of facilities services for QLD & NSW across the Australia Post portfolio.
• Oversee client liaison, scheduling, budgeting (OPEX & CAPEX) and contractor management.
• Manage 500–1000+ FM projects with business case reviews, scope, and QA against standards.
• Track service levels using JLL systems and identify cost-saving strategies.
• Ensure OH&S, environmental regulations, and risk controls; maintain risk registers.
• Provide regular written reports on property and facilities management and KPIs.
