Job summary

AECOM seeks a Technical Director with a strong Building Services background to lead major projects. You will provide senior technical and design leadership, manage client engagements and guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex solutions.

Based in Australia with hybrid work options, you will report to sector leadership and drive business development while ensuring quality, programmes and budgets align with client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Fire/Hydraulics Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status and relevant registrations.
• Extensive building services experience in Australia with leadership in senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical and design leadership across major Building Engineering projects.
• Lead project teams and manage delivery of a portfolio of works.
• Engage with clients to understand needs and build strong relationships.
