Job summary

Onpoint 365 in Canberra is seeking an APS6 Technical Business Analyst to lead complex business analysis for digital transformation and service modernisation initiatives. You will work with policy, business and delivery teams to define requirements and support practical, fit-for-purpose solutions.

You will translate strategic needs into clear business and technical requirements, while ensuring alignment between policy intent and technology solutions, with a focus on interoperability and digital

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading complex BA activities on large projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence outcomes.
• Ability to analyse risks, dependencies and priorities to recommend actions.
• Experience evaluating and improving business processes and operating models.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery and digital project environments.
• Ability to translate policy and standards into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, elicitation, impact assessments and process modelling.
• Analyse current and future processes, identify risks and dependencies.
• Develop business requirements, functional specs and strategic recommendations.
• Support feasibility assessments and business case development.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and co-design activities.
• Translate policy and technical concepts into clear docs and artefacts.
• Support solution design, testing, validation and continuous improvement.
• Manage competing priorities and contribute to project delivery.
