Job summary
Wpay, Australia’s leading non-bank payments provider, seeks a highly technical Senior Business Analyst to join the Digital Payments team in Sydney. You will bridge business vision and technical execution, eliciting complex requirements, designing robust solutions, and managing the backlog with product leadership.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical business analysis experience in software delivery.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools: JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience using AI tools/LLMs for requirements, docs, and investigation.
- Experience with front-end and back-end software solutions.
Responsibilities
- AI-Enabled Analysis: use AI/LLMs to accelerate requirements, docs, test criteria, and data exploration.
- Backlog ownership: collaborate with Product Managers to align stories with strategy.
- Design & execution: drive high-quality stories and guide the delivery squad.
- Documentation: create process maps, sequence diagrams, and testable user stories.
- Subject matter expert: guide engineers and merchants on digital payments offerings.
- Data-driven decisions: define success metrics, dashboards, and instrumentation.
- Cross-functional Agile leadership: facilitate planning, refinements, showcases with engineers and designers.
