Job summary

Australian Payments Plus Limited is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build and continuously improve the infrastructure and delivery pipelines that power our payments platform. This hands-on role emphasizes automation, cloud deployment and observability for reliable software delivery.

You will mentor junior engineers, champion AI-assisted monitoring, and drive improvements to tooling and processes while ensuring security, performance and resilience in our fast-paced payments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps, or scripting languages are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain complex software components, scripts and integration services.
• Lead system integration activities across configuration, testing, fault diagnosis and deployment.
• Provision, configure and optimise infrastructure across physical, virtual and cloud environments.
• Build automation that removes repetitive administration and improves deployment efficiency.
• Coordinate release and deployment activities, including testing and quality assurance.
