Job summary

Allura Partners is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join the IT Program Delivery Team on a permanent basis in Sydney. This hands-on role reports to the Program Manager and requires deep technical BA expertise to translate complex requirements into developer-ready artefacts across business, architecture and delivery stakeholders.

You will lead technical workshops, map current and future state processes, and produce BRDs/FRDs and interface designs.

Qualifications

Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and translate complex concepts into actionable specs.
Extensive experience delivering software across the full SDLC in enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices and backlog management in Jira.
Experience producing technical diagrams and documentation using Mural, Miro and Visio.

Responsibilities

Lead workshops and technical design sessions to translate business needs into specifications.
Map current and future state processes, identify gaps, and define system behaviours and integrations.
Produce developer-ready documentation including BRDs, FRDs, interface specs and solution designs.
Support agile delivery through epic refinement, story breakdown and backlog management in Jira.
