Job summary

Launch Group is seeking a hands-on Business Analyst to own the full requirements lifecycle across new features, change requests and system updates within our software development and implementation practice in New South Wales, Australia.

You will bridge clients and the development team, translating complex business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria while collaborating with project managers, developers and stakeholders across sales, service, parts, accounting and CRM.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst within software development environments.
  • Solid understanding of integrated software platforms or ERP-style systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery.
  • Experience on customer-facing projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery, analysis and requirements definition across multiple projects.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate workshops with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage scope, dependencies and expectations throughout delivery.
  • Support Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement and sprint planning.
  • Provide clear requirements guidance during development and UAT.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation across artefacts.

Job description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a close-knit, highly regarded software development and implementation business that has built a genuine market-leading position across the Australian and New Zealand dealership sector. This is a hands-on BA role where you will own the full requirements lifecycle across new features, change requests, and system updates, working closely with project managers, developers, and directly with clients.

Working across multiple concurrent projects, you will be the bridge between customers and the development team, translating complex business needs into clear, high-quality software solutions. The product suite is an integrated software platform covering interconnected functions across sales, service, parts, accounting and CRM. You will need to understand how these systems connect and depend on each other, as this sits at the core of how you will work day to day.

  • Type: Permanent
  • Location: NSW, 2127 (3 days in office)
  • Rate/Salary: Upto $150k + super
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst within software development environments
  • Solid understanding of integrated software platforms or ERP-style systems, and how interconnected modules across sales, service, finance and operations work together
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery
  • Experience working on customer-facing or external client projects
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to translate complex requirements clearly
