Job summary

UnicornX is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work across business transformation, systems integration and emerging AI-enabled solutions in a major enterprise environment. You will bridge business problems and technology, leading workshops with senior stakeholders and translating requirements for technical teams.

You’ll drive discovery through solution definition and delivery, collaborating with developers on APIs, data and integration considerations, while embracing growing AI capabilities

Qualifications

• Extensive senior BA experience across discovery, requirements and end-to-end delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
• Ability to challenge requirements and uncover underlying business problems.
• Experience producing detailed functional and technical requirements for developers.
• Strong API, data and integration knowledge; SDLC familiarity.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major enterprise environment working across business transformation, systems integration and emerging AI-enabled solutions.

This is an end-to-end BA role for someone who can genuinely bridge business and technology, comfortable leading workshops with senior stakeholders and then working with technical teams to translate requirements into detailed, implementable solutions.

The Role

You’ll work across a growing portfolio of technology initiatives, taking business problems from discovery and requirements through solution definition and delivery. You’ll be expected to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions and turn ambiguity into clear requirements, while working closely with developers and technical teams across systems integration, data and application requirements.

The organisation is also increasing its adoption of AI and emerging technologies, providing exposure to AI-enabled solutions, LLMs, data platforms and modern enterprise technology. You don’t need to be an AI specialist — curiosity and the ability to understand how new technology can solve business problems is what matters.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong Senior BA experience across discovery, requirements and end-to-end delivery
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
• Ability to challenge requirements and uncover the underlying business problem
• Strong Technical BA and systems integration experience
• Experience producing detailed functional and technical requirements for developers
• Good understanding of APIs, data/integration concepts and SDLC
• Experience working directly with developers, architects and delivery teams
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Experience with Jira or similar delivery tooling
• Genuine interest in AI, LLMs and emerging technology

The Ideal Profile

You combine strong business analysis and stakeholder capability with enough technical depth to understand systems, integrations and software delivery. You’ll be equally comfortable facilitating a workshop with +20 stakeholders and working with developers on the detail required to build the resulting solution.

Location: Sydney

Engagement: 12-month fixed-term contract
