Job summary

Easygo is seeking aTechnical Lead to partner with the Engineering Manager to own technical execution, delivery quality, and engineering maturity. The role acts as the guardian of engineering craft, decomposing complex systems and steering a product domain toward excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (Typescript/JavaScript, Svelte or SSR frameworks).
• Proficient in Node.js, REST APIs, Kubernetes, design patterns, and real-time communications.
• Strong distributed systems knowledge and ability to lead complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Own squad's engineering maturity, execution, and high-quality delivery end-to-end.
• Decompose complex requirements into architecture and design decisions.
• Act as reviewer of last resort for code and architecture within the squad.
• Mentor ICs on technical craft and promote continuous learning.
• Set engineering regimes with high standards for code review, testing, and reliability.
• Partner with Engineering Manager to deliver squad objectives and alignment with strategy.
• Lead hiring discussions, technical interviews, and performance reviews.
