Easygo in Sydney is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our Affiliates, Full-Stack role. You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. You’ll lead discussions, mentor juniors, and collaborate with product managers to align technical solutions with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years hands-on software engineering with a backend focus.
• Experience with Node.js, microservices, Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google) for production systems.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency with WebSockets, Pub/Sub, TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch.
• Strong software architecture, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and grow as a full-stack engineer.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on coding, testing, debugging to ensure scalable backend services.
• Lead technical discussions and drive team performance toward OKRs.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements.
• Architect and implement medium-sized components end-to-end.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge to improve practices.
• Contribute to design principles and code quality across projects.
• Plan and execute improvements to enhance team performance and efficiency.
