Job summary

UNSW Canberra is seeking two experienced and motivated Team Leads – Student Administrative Services to lead a team delivering high-quality student lifecycle services. These roles are based at UNSW Canberra, ADFA Campus and suit leaders who excel in service excellence and process improvement.

You will oversee admissions, enrolment, progression and graduation, provide strategic guidance to staff, and ensure compliance across processes while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with Defence

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience in student administration and team leadership.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop staff in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
• Strong experience across the student lifecycle: admissions, enrolment, progression and graduation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with complex student systems and data reporting tools.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to draft reports and business cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team to deliver high-quality, student-focused administrative services.
• Oversee student lifecycle functions including admission, orientation, enrolment, assessment and graduation.
• Provide high-level advice and support to students and staff across UNSW Canberra.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Defence partners.
• Ensure compliance with university policies, governance, and health and safety standards.
