Job summary

Hassett Group seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to take ownership across Systems Engineering and Verification & Validation. You''ll work across the complete product, understanding how its different systems interact and translating field, customer and market feedback into practical engineering and manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems engineering and/or verification & validation.
• Mechanical, mechatronics, systems engineering or related degree.
• Experience with industrial equipment, electrical/control/automation systems.
• Strong systems thinking and hands-on troubleshooting.
• Experience with requirements, risk-based testing and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to lead V&V activities from planning through execution.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Systems Engineering across mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Translate field/market feedback into product/manufacturing improvements.
• Lead end-to-end Verification & Validation activities.
• Develop and execute test plans, protocols and technical reports.
• Conduct structured Root Cause Analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Work closely with software, embedded and broader engineering teams.
• Support field trials, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Travel to trial sites across Victoria as required.
