Job summary

QuantX Labs in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to strengthen IT across corporate and engineering environments. This hands-on role covers Linux servers, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, security controls and external vendors, with a focus on scalable, reliable IT practices.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will own day-to-day IT operations, contribute to infrastructure planning, and drive automation and security improvements while collaborating with engineers and product teams.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Linux environments.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Experience supporting on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience across identity and access management, endpoints and security controls.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administering and maintaining Linux-based servers, systems and services.
• Managing Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune and Defender.
• Coordinating IT support, infrastructure activities and projects delivered through external MSPs and technology vendors.
• Maintaining system documentation, procedures and configuration records.
• Supporting cyber security controls and ongoing improvements to the security of the environment.
