Job summary

Lime Recruitment is assisting a large Queensland Government client in Brisbane to recruit a Senior Systems Administrator (EUC). The role focuses on delivering Tier 3 end-user compute solutions, MOE management, and cross-team collaboration to maintain and patch the EUC MOE environment.

You will configure and deploy software via SCCM, Intune, and PowerShell, automate provisioning, and oversee Microsoft 365 services across Teams, SharePoint, and related workloads while guiding junior engineers.

Job description

Contract to 31/03/2027 with possible extension | Brisbane CBD, QLD | Hybrid working

Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit a Senior Systems Administrator (EUC). In this role, you will be responsible for providing tier 3 end user compute technology solutions and operational support, collaborating across infrastructure, network, security, and service desk teams to maintain and patch the EUC Managed Operating Environment (MOE).

Key Responsibilities

Deliver third-level support and maintenance for the EUC technical landscape, performing root cause analysis on complex incidents and implementing resolution plans.

Scope, configure, test, package, and deploy software using SCCM, Intune, and PowerShell, while automating provisioning and deployment workflows.

Provide data-driven administration and proactive maintenance for Microsoft 365 services (including Teams, SharePoint, Teams Voice/Calling, Teams Meeting Rooms, and MS Forms).

Manage and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) across Windows, Apple iOS/iPadOS, and Android enterprise devices.

Evaluate, test, and assess new EUC hardware, group policies, configuration profiles, and emerging technologies to drive continuous service improvement.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary technology groups, external vendors, and internal stakeholders while providing technical guidance to junior team members.

About You

Extensive hands-on engineering experience in Managed Operating Environment (MOE) management, application packaging, and mobile device administration.

Strong technical background across Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune, Autopilot), SCCM, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, RDS/Windows 365, and PowerShell scripting.

Practical experience managing Teams Voice/Calling, Teams Meeting Rooms (Logitech, Poly), and device group policies.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, M365 Defender, ITIL frameworks, and ServiceNow environments.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise effectively across IT teams and business units.

Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Endpoint Administrator Associate, Teams Administrator Associate) are highly regarded.
