Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Infrastructure Architect to join a dynamic technology team in Sydney. You will lead hands-on delivery of Microsoft-based infrastructure projects, work with PMs and business stakeholders to scope, design and deliver end-to-end solutions.

You will own designs, provide technical leadership, and help mature delivery and architecture practices across Azure/hybrid environments, VMware and Windows Server.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ infrastructure / systems engineering experience.
• Strong Microsoft / Windows Server expertise.
• Proven end-to-end delivery experience.
• Financial Services experience in a regulated environment.
• Azure and/hybrid infrastructure experience.
• Strong networking fundamentals and VMware exposure.
• Understanding of security, resilience, availability and DR.
• Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership.
• Hands-on approach and willing to own solutions.

We’re seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Infrastructure Architect to join a positive, dynamic and collaborative technology team, reporting to the Head of Infrastructure.

You’ll lead hands-on technical delivery of infrastructure projects within a predominantly Microsoft environment, working closely with project managers and business stakeholders to scope, design and deliver end-to-end infrastructure solutions. This is not a pure architecture role. You’ll both own and deliver solutions, while collaborating with other technical team members to deliver broader infrastructure initiatives and help mature the organisation’s delivery and architecture practices.
