Job summary

Logical is seeking a hands-on Senior Systems Engineer to lead infrastructure initiatives across a complex enterprise environment in Melbourne. You will provide Level 3 support, design and deploy VMware, Cisco UCS, NetApp, and cloud services, and implement IAM, SSO, and security controls.

You will manage Azure/AWS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and on-prem/off‑prem hybrid platforms while driving automation with PowerShell and IaC practices. On-call rotation applies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in Systems or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Extensive experience with VMware, Cisco UCS, NetApp, SCCM and Intune in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with Azure, AWS, AD, Microsoft 365, IAM, SAML/OAuth, and PKI.
• Strong PowerShell skills and scripting/automation exposure.
• Security/compliance focus with CIS/NIST frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 infrastructure support and escalation.
• Design, deploy, and support VMware, ESXi, RDS/VDI, Cisco UCS, and NetApp environments.
• Manage and secure Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, AD and Azure AD platforms.
• Administer SCCM and Intune environments.
• Implement IAM, SSO, federation, privileged access, and security controls.
• Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Create technical documentation and support infrastructure projects.
• Participate in an on-call roster.
