Job summary

Survey Management Solutions is seeking a Senior Surveyor to join our office-based team in South Australia. You will lead survey computations, manage data, create 3D models for construction projects, and ensure deliverables meet QA standards.

As a senior member, you will mentor junior staff and contribute to the ongoing development of our survey systems and processes while supporting field teams with technical insights and project planning.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science, Geomatics, or similar
• Strong experience in survey computations and construction surveying
• Experience with GPS, Total Stations, machine guidance, and survey software
• Sound understanding of QA processes and survey validation
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and support multiple projects

• Prepare and review survey computations and set-out data

• Conduct QA/QC checks on survey deliverables
• Provide technical support to field surveyors and machine guidance operators
• Manage survey data and project documentation

The Opportunity

Survey Management Solutions (SMS) is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our growing South Australian team.

This is a primarily office-based role focused on survey computations, data management, 3D modelling, quality assurance, and technical support for our field teams. You'll play a key role in ensuring survey deliverables are accurate, efficient, and ready to support successful project outcomes.

As a senior member of the team, you'll also mentor junior staff and contribute to the ongoing development of our survey systems and processes.
