Job summary

Dignity Ltd is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead a team at a Temporary Accommodation site in Campbelltown. This permanent part-time role is a job-share with cross-over, offering above-award rates and salary packaging to increase take-home pay.

You will supervise Support Workers, assist guests with housing applications, and maintain safe, clean facilities while supporting guests toward stable accommodation. 15 hours per week, 12pm–5pm, Mon–Wed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience leading teams in challenging situations.
• Strong knowledge of the Housing and Homelessness sector.
• Working with Children Check required.
• DV Aware Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Time management, problem-solving, and initiative.
• Personal maturity, common sense, and self-awareness.
• Ability to clean to Dignity standards and maintain hygiene.
• Current Driver's Licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team at a Temporary Accommodation site and provide day-to-day supervision.
• Assist guests to find suitable accommodation and complete private rental applications.
• Monitor guest wellbeing and safety, and manage incidents.
• Support management with operational training and performance feedback.
• Ensure WHS documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and replenishment of supplies and facilities.
• Update database and maintain records.
