Job summary

Alliance Care is hiring Support Workers local to Penrith, NSW. You will travel to clients' homes and communities, delivering personal care and social support. Locally based candidates will be favoured, with shifts including mornings and afternoons.

Requirements include a Certificate IV in Disability/Aged Care (or equivalent), 3+ years of relevant experience in Australia, and essential care knowledge such as catheter and bowel care. Driving license and clear Checks are needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Australia.
• Certificate IV in Disability/Aged Care or equivalent required.
• Catheter Care, Bowel Care and Clinical Knowledge are essential.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care per client care plans (grooming, hygiene).
• Supervise medications where required and provide social support in home/community settings.

Education

Certificate IV in Disability/Aged Care (Equivalent or Higher)

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Police Check

First Aid & CPR Certificate (Current)

Manual Handling Competency

Fully vaccinated

Valid provisional or driver's licence

Motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance

We are looking for Support Workers local to Penrith, NSW to join our team now!

Our Support Workers work across Penrith and deliver care in participants' homes and in the community. You will be required to travel for this role.

We have various shifts available:

• Morning and Afternoon Shift

Disability Support Worker - What's involved in the role?

This role will be based in Penrith, NSW. Locally based candidates will be favourably looked upon.

Carers provide personal care (assisting with personal grooming), medication supervision, specialised care according to each client's care plan, as well as social support.

Essentials - What do you need to apply?

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (In Australia)
• Certificate IV in Disability/Aged Care (Equivalent or Higher)
• Catheter Care, Bowel Care and Clinical Knowledge are essential.
• Motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• First Aid & CPR Certificate (Current)
• Manual Handling Competency (Completed within last 12 months)
• Fully vaccinated
• Valid provisional or driver's licence
