Job summary

Community Solutions is seeking a Senior Support Coordinator in Brisbane to lead a Specialist Services Team, guiding a small caseload and mentoring coordinators to deliver quality outcomes for participants.

You will engage with families, service providers and health professionals, build strong stakeholder relations, and foster a positive team culture in a permanent full-time role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS and its impact on participants.
• Experience in Support Coordination with thorough knowledge of the NDIS.
• Leadership experience including staff supervision.
• Experience in community services or related fields.
• Strong time management to manage workload.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in general computer applications.

About The Role

As a Senior Support Coordinator in the Specialist Services Team, you will have responsibility for leading a team, whilst carrying a reduced caseload. This permanent full-time position is crucial within the organisation and is suited to an experienced and highly organised individual who has a passion for helping others.

You will support positive engagement with stakeholders including families, service providers, health professionals and Planners. You will mentor the Support Coordinators in your team to provide the highest possible quality service to our participants and promote a positive and supportive team culture.

About You

• Demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS and what it means for participants
• Experience with Support Coordination and a thorough knowledge of the NDIS
• Previous leadership experience that involves staff supervision
• Previous experience in community services, disability employment services, mental health services or similar
• Time management skills to effectively manage workload and meet deadlines
• High level of interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain relationships within a team, with participants, across service providers, and with various stakeholders
• Demonstrated competence in general computer applications
