Job summary

MMG is seeking a Senior Specialist – Contractor and Supply Ops to lead inventory management across two Australian mine sites, including SAP governance and data integrity. The role supports ERP transition projects and collaborates with suppliers and stakeholders to mitigate tail spend.

Based in Melbourne with travel to operations, the position requires assets-focused supply chain experience and strong SAP capability to optimise operations and cost.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years’ experience in supply chain or inventory control in assets-focused environments.
• Ideally a relevant professional qualification in inventory management / planning / purchasing.
• Knowledge of resource industry or high asset utilisation maintenance to analyse inventory needs.
• Highly proficient with SAP and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute inventory management strategies across two Australian mine sites.
• Escalate and investigate material master data issues and coordinate remediation.
• Engage with suppliers to resolve supply issues and explore options when critical.
• Support SAP management and contribute to ERP transition projects that minimize operational impact.
