Job summary

Transgrid, based in Sydney, Australia, seeks a senior civil engineer to provide technical leadership and governance for civil infrastructure within substations. You will influence engineering standards, ensure technical assurance across projects and asset lifecycles, and drive best-practice outcomes across complex infrastructure.

You will guide site development, earthworks, geotechnical design, foundations, roads and drainage, working with project teams, consultants and contractors to deliver

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with professional accreditation
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects
• Strong governance and standards experience
• Stakeholder management across multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and governance for civil infrastructure in substations
• Lead development of civil engineering standards, design frameworks and assurance practices
• Support project delivery with expert civil advice, design reviews and problem-solving
