Abergeldie is seeking a Senior Submissions Coordinator based in Sydney or Brisbane to lead high-quality bid submissions for major infrastructure and utilities projects. The role supports the Pre-Contracts team and collaborates across the business to pursue significant opportunities.

You will write, edit, and coordinate submissions, work with bid managers and subject matter experts, manage schedules and review meetings, and ensure compliant, persuasive content reflecting the company’s capability.

Qualifications

• Experience in submissions, proposals, bid writing or a related role within infrastructure, ideally with a tier 1 or 2 contractor.
• Relevant qualifications in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with a knack for simplifying complex ideas.
• Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to craft clear, persuasive proposals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Confidence to lead and contribute to bid review meetings, acting as a central point of contact for stakeholders.
• A collaborative approach, and ability to foster positive relationships across the business.

• Preparing standout EOIs and tenders, sharpening our messaging, and ensuring every submission reflects the strength of Abergeldie’s capability and value proposition.
• Coordinating key bid processes including schedules, writing plans and review meetings.
• Contributing to smarter, more efficient ways of capturing knowledge and managing content, ensuring submissions are consistent, compliant and competitive.

About the role

Based in either Sydney or Brisbane, as Senior Submissions Coordinator you will work as a pivotal member across our bid teams, leading the development of high-quality, compliant, and compelling submissions for major infrastructure and utilities projects. The role will require you to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to support significant pursuits within our Pre-Contracts team.

With more than $3B of work in hand, Abergeldie is on a strong growth trajectory. Our Pre-Contracts team plays a critical role in shaping this success. In the past year alone, the team supported several significant tender submissions, positioning the business for continued growth through 2026 and beyond.

What you’ll be responsible for
