Job summary

Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Pre Contracts Planner to join the Estimating team in Sydney. You will develop detailed tender schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project and work with estimators, bid managers and site teams to strengthen tender quality.

Based at our Regents Park office, you will contribute to tenders across roads, bridges, water, rail and tunnelling projects while collaborating with the wider bid group and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pre Contracts Planner on complex civil infrastructure.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong experience in SRA development.
• Ability to engage with a range of stakeholders to align schedules.
• Background in Engineering or site-based delivery (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed tender schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Support pre-contracts team across road, bridge, water, rail and tunnelling tenders.
• Load costs and resources; identify and analyse risks to ensure robust tenders.
• Collaborate with Estimating and bid teams to win work.

About The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Pre Contracts Planner to join our Estimating team in Sydney.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager you'll work closely with Estimators, Bid Managers and site teams to develop detailed tender schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

This role supports our Pre Contracts team across a number of complex and technically challenging road, bridge, water, rail and tunnelling tenders. You’ll play a key role in schedule development, cost and resource loading and identifying/analysing risks, to ensure our tenders are as robust as possible. Your insights will directly contribute to winning work.

Based at our Regents Park office, you will also collaborate with the wider Abergeldie bid teams.

What You'll Bring To The Team

• Experience as a Pre Contracts Planner on complex civil infrastructure projects including roads and bridges, water treatment or rail.
• High-level proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong experience in SRA development.
• The ability to engage with a range of stakeholders to ensure alignment on schedules and deliverables.
• A background in Engineering or site-based delivery (desirable).
• A practical, proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
