Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Technical Director level Structural Engineer to lead the Sydney Structures Team and drive landmark projects across Australia. This senior role combines team leadership with hands-on delivery, providing technical direction, design reviews and client liaison from concept to delivery.

You'll mentor engineers, grow the structural capability in Sydney, and contribute to proposals and work winning while upholding high engineering standards and close collaboration with the national

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering with 20+ years of structural experience.
• CPEng or equivalent registration with Engineers Australia.
• Extensive delivery of complex structural projects in a consultancy.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering landmark structural and multidisciplinary projects.
• Provide technical leadership, design reviews and quality assurance.
• Act as Project Director on major projects with clients and teams.
• Mentor and develop Sydney structural engineers for future leaders.
• Grow client relationships, contribute to proposals and work-winning.
