The Project Diary, a South Australian civil and structural consultancy, invites Senior/Mid Tier Civil Structural Engineers to join a small, dynamic team in Gawler. Work covers residential alterations to small commercial projects with hands-on design and site involvement.

You will collaborate with builders and drafters, produce detailed drawings in AutoCAD, and ensure compliance with Australian standards. A hands-on approach and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Proficiency in residential footing/slab design and timber/steel framing.
• Advanced CAD drafting skills.
• Strong communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Develop and engineer solutions for footing, steel, concrete, and timber designs.
• Produce precise engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Perform calculations for loads, pressures, and stresses.
• Prepare well-written reports on a timely basis.
• Review plans and changes to ensure structural integrity.
• Coordinate with builders, designers, and tradespeople on site.
