Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Perth team. The role involves delivering industrial structural design for mining/heavy industry clients, with hands-on site attendance (initially Huntly Mine) and direct client engagement to translate findings into practical engineering solutions.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across projects in Western Australia.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering (Structural or Civil) or equivalent.
Strong track record in industrial structural design.
Experience with mining/heavy industry projects.

Responsibilities

Deliver structural engineering services complying with standards and regulations.
Undertake concept, FEED, and detailed design of industrial structures.
Prepare analyses, calculations and deliverables per Australian Standards.
Review work by teams and support procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Engage with clients and site personnel to understand requirements.
Provide onsite support during shutdowns and remediation activities.
Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
Support proposals, estimates and bid documentation.
