Job summary

People8 has partnered with a respected multidisciplinary engineering consultancy to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer in its Built Environment team. This role offers ownership of building projects, direct client engagement, and the chance to contribute to a team known for technical excellence and collaborative delivery.

The successful candidate will lead structural design efforts, coordinate with architects and other engineers, and help deliver projects across a varied built-environment

Qualifications

• Must be a degree-qualified structural or civil engineer with strong structural design experience in built environment projects.
• Experience designing and delivering building structures in a consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design principles and relevant Australian Standards.
• Ability to coordinate structural packages and work with architects, contractors, clients and other engineering disciplines.
• Strong communication skills with the capability to review work and provide technical guidance to other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of structural engineering projects from concept to delivery.
• Engage directly with clients and project stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs.
• Provide technical guidance and review work of junior engineers.
• Support business growth through strong project delivery and client relationships.
