Design & Build Recruitment in Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead design across high-rise and multi-building developments, taking projects from concept through delivery. You’ll combine hands-on technical design with client interaction, project coordination and mentoring.

The role requires 7+ years’ structural experience (3+ in Australia), strong steel and concrete design skills, and proficiency with ETABS, RAM Concept, SPACEGASS and related tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ structural engineering experience, including 3+ years in Australia.
• Consultancy experience preferred.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design across complex building projects.
• Undertake modelling, analysis, calculations and documentation.
• Design in steel and concrete.
• Work closely with clients, architects, contractors and other consultants.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers.
• Attend project meetings and site inspections.
• Review designs and ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
• Contribute to client relationships and business development.
