Job summary

Aurecon Group in Perth, Western Australia, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Industrial Structures team. The role requires a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, with progress toward Chartership highly regarded, and experience with SpaceGass/Strand7; familiarity

Qualifications

• Civil/Structural Engineering degree with progress toward Chartership highly regarded.
• Experience in structural design for industrial facilities including mining handling and conveyors.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards AS/NZS 1170, AS 4100, AS 3600 is preferred.
• Proficiency with structural analysis tools SpaceGass/Strand7; familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit or Tekla is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural analysis and design for industrial steel and concrete structures, including platforms and pipe racks.
• Design foundations and support arrangements, coordinating with geotechnical inputs.
• Produce calculations, design reports, specifications and sketches; support drafting teams.
• Use SpaceGass and Strand7 to develop models; check outputs and ensure buildable solutions.
• Coordinate interfaces with civil, mechanical, piping and electrical teams; support constructability and Safety in Design.
• Provide construction support through RFIs, clarifications, and site input as needed.
