Bachelor's degree in structural engineering.
10+ years of proven technical experience with an engineering consulting firm or similar.
Chartered Engineer accreditation (or ability to obtain).
Brownfield design experience desirable.
Client facing project management experience.
Design experience in steel structures and concrete foundations for industrial/mining projects.
Knowledge of ISO, AS, ANSI, API codes.

Ensure Structural Design Deliverables are completed to standards, checked, approved, and issued with revision control documents.
Lead and coordinate a project team to meet time and budget objectives in a client-facing role.
Generate and review technical documents and deliverables.
Prepare specifications, design criteria, scope of work and material take-off lists.
Prepare engineering proposals and monitor budgets, reporting discrepancies.
Complete tasks under minimal supervision ensuring cost, quality, and time objectives are met.
Maintain communication with the Project Manager/Engineering Manager and regularly inform on technical activities, staffing, budgets, and schedules.
Contribute to ongoing development of the Structural Engineering Team with best-practice solutions.
Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
