TTW in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and delivery of varied building projects, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

The role targets candidates with 4+ years of structural engineering experience, a Civil or Structural degree, and Engineers Australia membership; strong ETABS/SPACE GASS/RAM/RAPT skills are essential for this role at TTW.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Membership with Engineers Australia; CPEng and/or NER accreditation is highly regarded.
• 4+ years of experience in structural engineering within a consulting environment.
• Proficiency in ETABS, SPACE GASS, RAM Structural System, and RAPT.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Site experience on at least one building project is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of projects including high-rise buildings, warehouses, industrial facilities, data centres, and other building developments.
• Prepare structural analysis, calculations, technical reports, specifications, and design documentation in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Review and check engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation prepared by junior engineers and drafters.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while ensuring high-quality project delivery.
• Prepare technical submissions and other project-related deliverables as required.
• Support construction activities by responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, assessing design changes, and conducting site inspections when required.
• Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.
