Job summary

KBR’s Infrastructure Solutions Australia is seeking a CSS Senior Engineer to lead the structural analysis, design and delivery of complex infrastructure projects across water, transport and buildings in Australia. You will mentor engineers, review technical documents and ensure compliance with Australian standards while managing scope, schedule and budgets.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Structural/Civil), 7–10 years of experience, and Chartered status or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Structural or Civil) with Australian professional recognition.
• 7–10 years structural engineering experience in consulting or infrastructure.
• Proven leadership of design, analysis and delivery on complex projects.
• CPEng or equivalent with eligibility for Engineers Australia.
• Experience mentoring teams and managing client relationships.
• Proficiency with structural software such as Microstran and SpaceGass.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and concrete/steel design.
• Budget, resource and risk management experience.
• RPEQ/RPEV/NER and White Card highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural analysis, design and delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to engineers and graduates.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, reports and specs.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk for project success.
• Build strong client relationships and support proposals and BD.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide construction support and reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement and compliance with standards and safety.
