Job summary

KBR’s Infrastructure Solutions Australia is seeking a CSS Senior Engineer to lead the structural analysis and delivery of complex infrastructure projects in Australia. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with drafters, graduates and designers to ensure high quality outputs.

Required are a Bachelor of Engineering in Structural/Civil, 7–10 years of experience, and CPEng or equivalent. You will work across multidisciplinary teams with a focus on safety, quality and client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Structural/Civil recognised for professional registration in Australia.
• 7–10 years structural engineering experience in consulting, infrastructure, or major projects.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent, with Engineers Australia eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis, design and delivery of complex infrastructure, industrial, water, transport and building projects.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to engineers, graduates, designers and drafters.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, reports, specifications, and documentation.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk to ensure successful delivery.
• Build and maintain client relationships, contribute to proposals and business development.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide construction support, inspections and technical reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement, technical excellence and compliance with Australian Standards, safety and quality.
