Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structures, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
• Develop detailed plans and specifications for construction projects.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
• Use CAD software to create and modify designs.
• Perform calculations and simulations to test strength and stability of structures.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate design concepts and findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in structural engineering technology.
