Lake Macquarie City Council is seeking a Senior Stormwater Drainage Engineer to lead planning and management of the council's stormwater assets from Speers Point NSW. You will drive asset strategies, lifecycle planning and renewal programs while delivering engineering advice on risk and performance.

The role requires Civil Engineering credentials, strong experience in stormwater and asset management, plus excellent stakeholder engagement and reporting skills.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience assessing stormwater and drainage infrastructure and delivering practical engineering solutions.
• Knowledge of asset management, lifecycle planning and renewal programming.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, reports and engineering advice.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Class C Driver's Licence.

Aufgaben

• Lead the planning and management of Council's stormwater drainage assets.
• Develop asset management plans, lifecycle models and renewal programs.
• Provide specialist engineering advice on stormwater infrastructure, risk and asset performance.
• Identify and prioritise future drainage improvement opportunities through analysis and planning.
• Manage investigations, feasibility studies and capital works planning.
• Mentor and support colleagues through technical leadership and peer review.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes for the community.
• Support compliance obligations related to dams and stormwater programs.
