Job summary

Data#3 is seeking a Senior Storage & Backup Engineer to join the national Managed Services team in Australia. You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements, design and implement robust backup and recovery solutions, and mentor IT staff while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

You will manage backup platforms across Azure and AWS, monitor jobs, conduct regular tests and audits, and collaborate with IT teams to integrate backup solutions and respond to incidents.

Qualifications

• Storage and backup skills across public and private cloud environments (Azure & AWS).
• Server virtualisation platforms and OS (HCI, Cisco UCS, Nutanix, VMware vSphere).
• Certifications in backup and SAN products are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical concepts to align with organisational objectives.
• Plan, design, and implement backup and recovery processes and solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship on backup strategy best practices.
• Monitor and manage Backup and Recovery solutions to meet standards.
