Job summary

Data#3 in Brisbane is seeking a Systems Engineer to strengthen your experience across both cloud and on‑prem infrastructure. You will work in Data#3’s internal Microsoft environment providing operational and project support, contributing to security, recovery, and modernisation initiatives.

You will manage Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and on‑premises infrastructure, administer Windows Server and Active Directory, and apply monitoring across virtual environments while assisting with escalations

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure on-premises and cloud environments in a systems engineering role.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure and M365, monitoring systems and services, Power Platform, Networking and virtualised environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving capability
• Clear communication and a collaborative, service‑focused approach
• Ability to manage competing BAU and project priorities
• Relevant Microsoft or Azure certifications are highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and on-premises infrastructure
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory and virtual environments
• Assist with escalations and resolve infrastructure, application and network issues
• Monitor, maintain and optimise systems and virtual machines
• Build and upgrade servers and support infrastructure modernisation activities
• Contribute to security, AI governance, information protection and recovery initiatives
