Job summary

Anduril Australia is building unmanned systems for subsurface domains, applying unsupervised autonomy and modern software delivery. We seek a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to architect, design, deliver, and sustain toolchains enabling fast, secure deployment of capabilities across uncertain, critical environments.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary software team, mentor engineers, and ensure operations across cloud, OS, and orchestration layers with a strong focus on security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of next‑gen software delivery toolchains.
• Manage ICT infrastructure including AWS/Azure/VMware ESXi.
• Operate OS layers (NixOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat, Windows).
• Oversee orchestration with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform.
• Oversee application layer tooling (GitHub Enterprise, CircleCI).
• Contribute to Nix build and deployment systems.
• Mentor junior engineers within a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Advocate for security best practices across toolchains.
