Job summary

Airwallex in Sydney (hybrid: 3 days in office) is seeking a Solutions Engineer to own end-to-end Spend and corporate card implementations across APAC. You will turn business requirements into actionable plans, orchestrating cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver on time, with quality and scale.

This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Merchant Services, Product, and Engineering, covering pre-sales through go-live and early adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, customer success, or project management.
• 4+ years of client-facing delivery in SaaS/fintech or systems integration.
• Proven cross-functional project delivery with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to lead meetings and provide status updates.
• Experience delivering ERP, accounting systems or expense platforms and the associated data flows.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor for high‑value implementations.
• Translate requirements into scalable integration architectures focusing on ERP, HRIS, and API integrations.
• Collaborate with sales on technical discovery and integration blueprint.
• Troubleshoot integration hurdles and guide complex configuration decisions.
• Serve as SME on integration ecosystem, coordinating with Sales, Product, and partners.
• Create internal documentation, playbooks, and lightweight tooling for the team.
• Provide feedback to Product and Engineering to improve implementation outcomes.
