NSW Health's Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick is seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to work with paediatric oncology services. This full-time role offers advanced clinical care and leadership for children with cancer and brain tumour-related feeding, swallowing, and communication issues.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across inpatient and outpatient settings, contribute to service development and evaluation, and lead education and supervision of staff and students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Speech Pathology with eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
• Extensive post graduate clinical experience with advanced clinical practice and reasoning skills.
• Experience in quality improvement and service evaluation with evidence-based practice guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication including strong IT skills.
• Experience delivering clinical education to students, parents and professionals.
• Experience supervising staff and students.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced clinical care for paediatric oncology patients with feeding, swallowing and communication difficulties.
• Lead and support a multidisciplinary team across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Develop, evaluate and enhance paediatric speech pathology services.
• Deliver clinical education and supervise staff and students.
