NSW Health in Australia is seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to lead the Community Health Care Speech Pathology service at Lawson Community Health Centre. The role focuses on high-quality assessments, strategy, and coordination of care to diverse populations in community settings.

The Senior clinician provides supervision, specialist advice, and governance oversight across the service, promoting safe, evidence-based practice and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Formación

• Degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
• Proven high level of clinical expertise in assessment and management of aged care clients with communication disorders.
• Post-graduate experience in dysphagia management, especially with aged care clients with complex needs.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with stakeholders.
• Experience in supervision, mentoring and staff development.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality assessment, intervention and care coordination to improve health outcomes.
• Lead governance and supervision of the Speech Pathology service within Community Health Care.
• Support multidisciplinary teams and drive service development and quality improvement.
• Influence care planning and promote evidence-based practice across NBMLHD Community Health Care.
