Job summary

Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) invites an experienced Speech Pathologist to join the CILAH team as Senior Allied Health Professional. You will apply contemporary speech pathology expertise within educational settings to support learning, participation and wellbeing across Catholic schools in SA.

Working with school leaders, educators and families you will assess needs, develop supports, build educator capability and provide supervision to colleagues and students.

Qualifications

• Experience in educational settings and multi-disciplinary allied health teams.
• Ability to translate assessment findings into practical strategies for students.
• Strong communication and collaboration with educators and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess students’ communication, speech, language, literacy and participation needs.
• Develop and review evidence-informed supports for students, groups and school communities.
• Build educator capability through professional learning, coaching and practical support.
• Collaborate with schools, families and colleagues to deliver coordinated services.
• Provide professional guidance and supervision to allied health colleagues and university students.
