Job summary

Ability Action Australia is seeking a senior Speech Pathologist to lead and mentor a team while continuing meaningful clinical work across client homes, schools and community settings.

You will supervise junior Speech Pathologists, deliver evidence-based therapy, complete assessments and set individualized goals, and collaborate with other therapists to build a positive, learning-focused clinic culture.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with current registration.
• NDIS experience is preferred.
• Interest in mentoring and developing clinicians.
• Committed to evidence-based practice and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach and formally supervise junior Speech Pathologists.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy across home, school and community settings.
• Complete assessments and develop meaningful, individualised therapy goals.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists and Behaviour Support Practitioners.
• Help build a positive clinical culture where clinicians genuinely enjoy coming to work.
