Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond, WA seeks a Sr Structural Analysis Engineer to lead structural analysis and verification of satellite subsystems. You will define approaches, manage FEMs, and drive verification planning with cross-functional teams.

The role requires deep aerospace structure experience, leadership in analysis and mentoring, and collaboration with design, test, and supplier teams to ensure robust structural integrity.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in aircraft/spacecraft structures with leadership in analysis and verification.
• Proven dynamic analysis and test experience including modal, random vibration, sine, shock, and acoustics.
• Experience in FEM management and model validation.
• Ability to define requirements and interfaces when direction is incomplete, and mentor others.

• Lead structural analysis and verification of a satellite subsystem or major structural area, from requirements through qualification.
• Define requirements, interfaces, analysis approaches, and verification strategies from incomplete or evolving direction.
• Lead dynamic analysis and test planning: derive loads, plan random vibration, sine, shock, and acoustic verification.
• Own and verify FEMs, and correlate models to test data.
• Document stress analyses and review analyses for rigor and consistency.
• Support test execution, analyze results, and close verification of structural requirements.
• Improve analysis methods and tools to reduce repeat issues across the team.
• Mentor engineers and lead discussions in reviews and TIMs/ gates.
