Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture, principal engineering, or senior technical pre-sales roles.
• Expert-level coding proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark.
• Deep enterprise data architecture expertise: distributed systems, real-time, lakehouse designs.
• Expert knowledge of the Databricks Platform or equivalent depth in competing platforms.
• Declared technical specialization with recognized depth (e.g., real-time, ML/AI, migrations).
• Proven track record of driving consumption growth and platform adoption in large accounts.
• Executive presence to influence C-level stakeholders on data/AI strategy.
• Experience leading competitive displacements and enterprise evaluations.
• Strong strategic thinking linking architecture to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical and consumption strategy for the most complex customer engagements.
• Own senior-level technical relationships with enterprise customers.
• Lead the most complex architecture engagements across multi-workload platforms and migrations.
• Act as an Expert on the Databricks Platform and mentor others.
• Develop and execute competitive strategies for customers against incumbents.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
• Coach and develop junior SAs on technical depth and engagement skills.
• Contribute to Field Engineering thought leadership with customer content and workshops.
