Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect (Energy) in Sydney to lead the most complex customer engagements, shape consumption strategy, and own executive-level relationships. You will act as a technical authority for enterprise data and AI initiatives, guiding multi-workload migrations and real-time systems.

You will mentor junior SAs, collaborate with field engineers, partners, and product teams to drive platform adoption and revenue growth across large accounts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture or senior technical pre-sales.
• Expert-level coding with Python and SQL; Spark/PySpark preferred.
• Deep enterprise data architecture: distributed systems, real-time, lakehouse patterns.
• Expert-level knowledge of Databricks Platform (or equivalent depth).
• Declared technical specialization in real-time architectures, ML/AI platforms, or data governance.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical and consumption strategy for complex engagements.
• Own senior-level technical relationships and advise on enterprise data & AI strategy.
• Lead multi-workload architectures and migrations at scale.
• Mentor junior SAs and contribute to field engineering thought leadership.
