Senior Solutions Architect – Databricks

Hybrid role (minimum 1 day per week onsite)

A high-growth, enterprise-focused technology services firm is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to design and deliver modern data platforms built on Databricks. This is a senior, hands‑on role suited to architects who enjoy working closely with clients, shaping solutions, and leading complex data initiatives end to end.

This opportunity is highly selective and best suited to candidates already operating at a senior Solutions Architect level within consulting or professional services environments.

The Role

You will work alongside delivery leaders, sales partners and senior customer stakeholders to architect, build and embed scalable Databricks‑based data solutions. The role blends deep technical delivery with strong client engagement and solution ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable data architectures using Databricks
• Lead hands‑on Databricks migrations and platform implementations
• Translate business requirements into practical, production‑ready solutions
• Engage directly with customer technical and business stakeholders
• Contribute to solution design, statements of work, and delivery planning
• Act as a trusted technical advisor across data engineering and analytics initiatives

About You

• 5+ years’ experience across data, analytics or platform engineering
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Solutions Architect (must be current)
• Strong hands‑on Databricks experience (delivery, not vendor oversight)
• Current Databricks certifications
• Solid cloud experience across AWS and/or Azure (GCP also considered)
• Strong capability in Spark, Python/PySpark, SQL and data pipelines
• Background in professional services, consulting or client‑facing delivery
• Comfortable owning solutions and engaging at senior stakeholder level
