Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect in Sydney to own the strategic delivery of technology architecture, design, and uplift of system architecture to meet client expectations. You will help technology delivery teams align programs with the wider group view and ensure Ab Initio solutions stay future-proof and compliant.

You will engage with clients, lead solution design sessions, and support cross-functional teams across Agile and Waterfall environments to deliver

Qualifications

• Over 14–16 years of IT experience with Ab Initio and related tools.
• Strong ETL and SQL skills with banking domain exposure.
• Experience in data warehousing and Ab Initio tools.

Responsibilities

• Engages with clients to discover, analyze and document requirements and translate into technical terms for design.
• Designs solutions and system/ software architecture per standards.
• Supports Sales in responses and RFPs and guides technical direction.
• Resolves routine to moderately complex problems in solution architectures and assesses risks.
• Collaborates with teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with reference architectures and security standards.
• Manages projects as a technical advisor to clients.
• Provides thought leadership in emerging technologies for the Solutions Architecture team.
• Drives continuous improvement and explores new technology applications across projects.
• Undertakes ownership across all phases of the project lifecycle.
