Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a senior data solutions consultant in Canberra with extensive pre-sales experience to translate complex federal requirements into scalable Snowflake architectures. You will present technology to executives, demonstrate proofs of concept, and collaborate with global system integrators to shape enterprise data solutions.

Your background should include 10+ years in tech, strong SQL/Python skills, and a degree in CS/Engineering/Math, with readiness for high-impact government

Qualifications

• Active Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1+ preferred).
• Based in Canberra with high in-person office presence.
• 10+ years of technical industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a pre-sales / solution engineering role.
• Translate complex business problems into scalable data architectures.
• Outstanding presentation and storytelling for technical audiences.
• Broad experience with enterprise databases, data warehouses, ETL, analytics, cloud platforms.
• Hands-on SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• Domain expertise in Federal Public Sector (Defence, National Security, etc.).
• Experience with Global Systems Integrators (EY, Deloitte, Accenture).

• Broad experience with enterprise-scale database and data warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud platforms
• Hands-On expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python
• Ability to perform deep discovery of customer architectural frameworks and map them to Snowflake's Data Architecture
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Domain expertise and networks within Federal Public Sector domains such as Defence and National Security, Law Enforcement, or Federal Health
• Experience working alongside Global Systems Integrators such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture
